Storm

Ayla walks into the Meting House, twiddling her thumbs nervously. "I have some bad news for us," she says worriedly. "There is a storm approaching Terrath. I have seen this from the lookout station. From now on, we need to assign ranks. I need a medical head, a lookout leader, a patrol leader, and a hunting leader. Our lieutenant will be Kennith."

Kennith looks surprised at this, but says nothing. Ayla says, "I am sorry for this abrupt change, but it needed to be taken. Anyone who would like to voulunteer for one of these four positions speak now." Ayla converses with the rest of the children, then raises her voice again.

"It is decided. Kelly will be medical head, Emma will be our lookout leader, our patrol leader will be Lacey, and _______ will take on the role of hunting leader.

I want Emma to go to the lookout station and report back in 30 minute increments. Kelly, gather supplies from the forest. I believe I saw some near the waterfall. Our patrol leader Lacey will help strengthen the walls of the huts along with Kennith. I will go with ______ to catch as much game as we can before the storm hits. Let's move it people!"

(Okay, sorry for this change but it needed to be taken. Kennith is lieutenant because I didn't want everyone arguing over the importance of it. The ranks and responsibilites are:

Medical Head (MH)---> TAKEN Collects supplies & herbs. Like a med. cat, except they are allowed to fall in love.

Lookout Leader (LL)---> TAKEN Runs the lookout station. It's helpful if this is someone with telepathy or who can run fast, because they need to make regular reports to Ayla.

Patrol Leader (PL)---> TAKEN Leads/organizes the patrols of Terrath. Usually a person with endurance.

Hunting Leader (HL)---> Leads/organizes the hunting patrols. Usually someone with excellent marksmanship and stealth.

Camp

Okay, I'm going to be at camp from Sunday through Friday so I can't post anything. Thought you might want to know!

Announcements

Ayla walks into the Meeting House, swinging her cornsilk blonde hair over her shoulder. The other children were seated on bamboo mats around the room.

Ayla called out in a clear voice, "Children of Terrath, we have new joiners today. Please welcome Anette, Emma, Lacey, Tessa, Alysen, and Kelly. Anette is a meirma, meaning she can see, talk, and breathe underwater. Emma can teleport, and Lacey is a shape-shifter. Tessa and Kelly are empathetic, and Alysen can become invisible." Ayla clapped her slender hands together in a dignified manner. "You are dismissed."

Waterfall

The waterfalls are a constant source of clean water, as well as an excellent place to take a bath.

Seashell Cove

Seashell Cove has a multitude of seashells of every size, shape, and color. Many children come here to collect these shells for keepsakes or decoration.

Meeting House

The meeting house is where Ayla or others hold meetings. It has open windows, so that we can enjoy cool breezes while we talk.

Lookout Place

This is where we can lookout for anything that might be happening, like storms or ships coming ashore.

Kitchen

The kitchen is where all the food is prepared. We all take turns with this task. The kitchen house also has a pulley system so that water and food can be transported to and from eaisily.

Sleeping Quarters

The sleeping quarters, like the rest of our houses, are treehouses connected by rope bridges. The boys and girls sleep in different houses. The boys' is on the left, and the girls' is on the right.

Beach

This is the beach, where you can hang out, swim, or practice using your power.

Indigo Child

We are the stuff of legend. Small children with amazing and deadly powers: healing, telekinesis, even mind reading. Many have doubted us and all have been proven wrong. We are a race like nothing this world has seen. Join us.

*All Indigo Children possess the basic power: giving well being of the heart and mind to others. However, each child has a different main power that they cultivate. Please, no elements. Think more telekinesis, mind-reading, etc. The only time you should stray towards the elements is if your child has something like the ability to fly, or create water shapes, or to conjure fire in one place. No one child should have complete control over an element.
